Nitrile rubber sheet

Nitrile rubber sheet is a synthetic rubber made from the copolymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile, known for its excellent resistance to oil, heat, abrasion and aging. This rubber is able to maintain stability in a wide range of oils and solvents, and is suitable for use in the production of O-rings, sealing gaskets, hoses, wire and cable insulation, automotive fuel system components, and industrial pumps and rollers.

Nitrile rubber sheet has excellent oil resistance, heat resistance, abrasion resistance, gas permeability, and high elongation modulus, hardness and tensile strength, and also has a wide range of operating temperature compared with other rubbers, and it is widely used in oil-resistant hose of hydraulic transmission system. Due to the existence of double bonds in its molecules, α-hydrogen is very active, which is prone to degradation reaction under the action of heat and oxygen, so that the molecular structure of the material changes. In the process of use, the rubber will gradually undergo aging, resulting in its loss of elasticity and decline in mechanical properties.

Nitrile Rubber Sheet can work in oil media (engine oil, diesel, gasoline, lubricants) in environments from - 30C to +80 C. It has sealing and solubility resistance properties. It also shows good resistance to inorganic chemical products, except antioxidants and chlorine. It has satisfactory resistance to hydrocarbons in general. Due to its polar nature, we do not recommend its use with polar liquids such as ketones, ethers and amines.

1. Oil resistance: it is basically insoluble in non-polar and weakly polar oils, such as mineral oil, liquid fuels, animal and vegetable oils, etc. It has good sealing and anti-expansion properties when working in oil, diesel, gasoline, lubricating oils and other mediums, and its oil resistance is second only to polysulfide rubber and fluoroelastomer, and is better than that of chloroprene rubber.

2. Heat resistance: because it contains acrylonitrile structure, reducing the degree of unsaturation of the molecule, and the cyano group has a strong ability to absorb electrons, so that the hydrogen on the position of allyl is more stable, so the heat resistance is better than the natural, butadiene and other general-purpose rubbers, choose the appropriate formula, the maximum operating temperature of up to 130 ℃, in the hot oil can be resistant to high temperatures of 150 ℃.

3. Abrasion resistance: the polarity of the rubber sheet increases the intermolecular force, thus increasing the abrasion resistance, 30%-45% higher than natural rubber.

4. Airtightness: polarity and trans - 1,4 structure makes its structure compact, low air permeability, and butyl rubber belongs to the same rubber with good airtightness.

5. Chemical resistance: the introduction of acrylonitrile improves the stability of the structure, chemical resistance is better than natural rubber, but the resistance to strong oxidizing acid is poor.

Tensile strength: the tensile strength of pure rubber vulcanized rubber is only 3.0-4.5MPa, after carbon black reinforcement, the tensile strength of vulcanized rubber can reach 25-30MPa, which is better than SBR.

Antistatic: It has excellent antistatic properties and can be used in places where static electricity needs to be exported to avoid causing fire, such as textile rollers, leather rings, flame retardant transportation belts and so on.

1. Sealing gaskets: Used for sealing automobile engines, gearboxes, differentials and other parts of the car to prevent the leakage of oil, gear oil, etc., such as gaskets between engine block and cylinder head, oil sump gaskets, half-shaft oil seals and so on.

2. Oil pipes and hoses: manufacturing automobile fuel lines, brake fluid lines, power steering fluid lines, etc., can withstand the pressure and erosion of the fluid to ensure the normal transmission of the fluid.

3. Vibration-damping components: such as shock-absorbing rubber blocks in the suspension system, shock-absorbing pads for engine mounts, etc., which can effectively reduce the vibration and noise of the vehicle driving process.

4. Conveyor belts: In the material transportation of petrochemical enterprises, they are used to transport oily or corrosive materials such as crude oil, refined oil and chemical raw materials.

5. Sealing washers and gaskets: For bearings, gear boxes, pumps and other parts of all kinds of mechanical equipments, the washers and gaskets made of nitrile rubber sheets can prevent lubricating oil from leaking and ensure the normal operation of the equipments.

6. Protective gaskets: Installed on the bench of mechanical equipment or between the equipment and the ground, play a protective and shock-absorbing role, but also to prevent oil, coolant and other contamination and corrosion of the ground or bench.

7. Transmission belts: such as common V-belts and synchronous belts in industrial production, NBR sheet has good abrasion resistance and tensile properties, which can ensure the effective transmission of power.

8. Insulating material: NBR sheet has certain insulating property, it can be used to make insulating layer of wires and cables, insulating gaskets, etc. to prevent leakage and short circuit.
